Charlotte is full with lots of family-friendly attractions that will entertain all ages! Located on the border of North and South Carolina is Carowinds, a water and theme park! There’s so much to do and explore in the 398-acre amusement park.

Known for its racing roots, the ‘NASCAR Hall of fame’ is also one of the area’s most popular attractions. The Charlotte motor speedway offers tours and The NASCAR Hall of Fame is a shrine to the history and heritage of NASCAR.

Shopping & Nightlife

There are some great places for retail therapy all around the area, from the upscale South Park Mall to the bargain-hunting paradise of Concord Mills. You can shop at some high-end boutiques with designer labels like Michael Kors and Narciso Rodriguez! At night, head to the Centre City’s nightlife scene at NC Music Factory, where you can check out bars, restaurants, pubs, clubs and live music along a signature stroll district set amongst historic mill buildings.
